Thomas “Hank” Pelkey opened the meeting at 6:45PM. Water Board members present were: Thomas “Hank” Pelkey, Allen Hitchcock, Joseph Gagnon, and David Markowski. Thomas Hooker was absent. Also present were Michael Balch, Linda Drummond, Tom Carrara, Sally Eugair, Shawn Erickson, and David Lacy.
MINUTES The minutes of October 18, 2006 were approved.
OLD BUSINESS
Consider Sewer & Water Board Commissioners Thomas “Hank” Pelkey made a motion to hold on the consideration of Sewer & Water Board commissioners until the next meeting when all Board members are present. D. Markowski seconded the motion. The motion was passed unanimously 4 to 0.
A. Hitchcock commented on the possibility of combining the Water and Sewer Boards. He would like to see a plan of action for the water board especially to show direction. The fiscal plan for the Water Division is a good base for the Water Board’s plan. Discussion was held about needing to reorganize the boards and M. Balch will check with the State regulators to find out if combining the two boards is acceptable.
With no further business, the Water Board adjourned at 6:50 PM.
