Board Minutes 8/4/04 Thomas “Hank” Pelkey opened the meeting at 6:35 P.M.
The Board members present were: Thomas “Hank” Pelkey, Dave Markowski,
Joe Gagnon, Larry Pomainville and Allan Hitchcock. Also present were Michael
Balch, and Paula Bizon Recording Secretary. MINUTES The Sewer Board minutes of 7/28/04 were reviewed,
discussed and approved. A spelling
error was corrected on the minutes. ORDERS The orders dated 8/4/04 were reviewed, discussed and
approved. OTHER BUSINESS The Board asked whether or not the new sewer users have
been informed that they will be paying fees immediately and if a pump is
necessary that the expense will be up to the user. M.
Balch stated that the information would go out to the users in their letter. The Board requested information on the apparent leak on
Elm St. M. Balch will get back to
the Board. M. Balch presented to the Board a bid he had received to
review options on the use of the blue tank at the transfer station and the work
on the pumping station located at Pittsford Commons.
A. Hitchcock moved and H Pelkey seconded a motion to accept the bid from
Otter Creek Engineering to evaluate the use of the blue storage tank at the
transfer plant and to establish a work plan for the pumping station at Pittsford
Commons. Unanimously
approved. The Board discussed the need to address illegal home sump
pumps as residents move prior to new owners purchasing the home.
M. Balch will look into it and report back to the Board. Without any further
