Town of Pittsford Sewer Board Meeting June 7, 2006 Thomas “Hank” Pelkey opened the meeting at 7:13PM. Sewer Board members present were: Thomas “Hank” Pelkey, Allen Hitchcock, Joseph Gagnon, and Thomas Hooker. Also present were Michael Balch, Linda Drummond, Tom Carrara, Sally Eugair, Jennie Parker, A. J. Grace, and Rhonda Grace. D. Markowski arrived at 7:15PM.
MINUTES The Sewer Board minutes of May 17, 2006 were reviewed, discussed, and changes are needed.
Consider Sludge Waste Removal Bid Offer There was one bid for sludge waste removal from Joe Hance Trucking, Inc. for $208 per load for July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2009. Within the last three years, there has only been a 10 % increase due to fuel price increases. A. Hitchcock made a motion to accept the bid for sludge waste removal from Joe Hance Trucking, Inc. for $208 per load for July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2009. T. Hooker seconded the motion. The motion was passed unanimously. Consider Elm Street Sewer Repair Bid Offers Four bids were opened on June 7, 2007 for the Elm Street Sewer Manhole and Replacement of Sewer Main: E & D Miner $28,750; Markowski Excavating $53,569; Gecha Bros. Excavators $31,803; and Thomas Grace $33,400. D. Markowski recused himself from any action. Discussion was held in regards to the bid amounts. A. Hitchcock made a motion to accept the bid for $28,750 from E & D Miner. T. Hooker seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously carried with D. Markowski recusing from the vote. .
