Town of Pittsford Thomas “Hank” Pelkey opened the meeting at 4:00 PM. Select Board members present were: Thomas “Hank” Pelkey, Joe Gagnon, Allen Hitchcock and David Markowski... Larry Pomainville was absent. Also present were: Mike Balch and Helen McKinlay. OLD BUSINESS FY 2006 Draft Budget The draft budget was presented as reviewed at the previous meeting. M. Balch stated no changes had been received from Board members and the draft budget remains unchanged. Dave Markowski made a motion to accept the budget as presented: General Fund Budget at $1,037,419.00; Highway Budget at $867,803.00; and the Village Budget at $19,000.00. J. Gagnon seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Annual Town Meeting Warning M. Balch presented the warning for the Select Board’s review. Article 11 had been added since the January 19, 2005 meeting. Article 11 reads: Shall Pittsford adopt its budget by Australian ballot, excluding those special appropriations made to aide social services? Dave Markowski made a motion to accept the Town Warning as printed. Allen Hitchcock seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. NEW BUSINESS Town Roads Allen Hitchcock stated he’d received five complaints recently regarding the condition of the Town roads. Complaints were received about conditions on Oxbow Road and Adams Road. M. Balch stated he had also received a couple complaints about Corn Hill Road and Orchard Hill Drive since the large snow storm on the previous Saturday. M. Balch stated the Highway Department has two new employees plowing this year. The new employees are learning the plow routes and may be a little slower but are picking up quickly and are very conscientious. The full road route with 4 trained highway crew is designed to be completed in a 4 hour time frame. The weekend conditions were made more difficult with the windy conditions. M. Balch assured the Board he investigates complaints on road conditions and returns calls following the investigations. With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:28 P.M.
