Town of Pittsford Thomas “Hank” Pelkey opened the meeting at 3:0 PM. Select Board members present were: Thomas “Hank” Pelkey, Larry Pomainville, Joe Gagnon, Allen Hitchcock, and Dave Markowski. Also present were: Mike Balch, Don Nickless and Robert Howland. NEW BUSINESS Lothrop School Board Director Vacancy R. Howland addressed the Select Board regarding Mary Marzec-Gerrior’s resignation letter from the Lothrop School Board effective January 11, 2005. R. Howland requested the Select Board appoint M. Marzec-Gerrior to fill out the remainder of the term until the March 2, 2005 election. A motion was made by A. Hitchcock and seconded by L. Pomainville to appoint M. Marzec-Gerrior to fill the vacant Lothrop School Director position until the March 2, 2005 election. The motion passed unanimously. R. Howland departed at 3:10 P.M. EXECUTIVE SESSION In accordance with 1VSA 312(b) where premature general public knowledge would clearly place the Municipality or person involved at a substantial disadvantage, the Board unanimously agreed to go into executive session for Union Contract at 3:10 P.M. M. Balch was invited to stay. All others were excused. The Board came out of executive session at 4:00 P.M. The Board took no action at this time.
