PITTSFORD RECREATION DEPARTMENT MINUTES OF December 11, 2007 PITTSFORD MUNICIPAL OFFICES @ 7:00 pm
Meeting was called to order by Rob Ketcham at 7:00 pm. Members of the Recreation Committee who were present include Mark Poljacik, Mark Winslow, and Kathy Shortsleeves.
Recreation Director Randy Adams was also present.
Recreation Committee members Scott Eugair, Michele Cioffredi, and Kathy Brown were not present. Jenny Parker called the Recreation Director at 6:50 pm to notify him she would not be attending due to the ice storm that was taking place.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
The minutes of November 13, 2007 were read and accepted. M. Winslow made the motion to accept the minutes as read.
M. Poljacik seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
RECREATION DIRECTOR'S REPORT R. Adams presented the December Recreation Director's Report.
OLD BUSINESS
FY 2009 Budget R. Adams informed the Recreation Committee that he attended the December 5, 2007 Select Board Meeting to present the FY 2009 Recreation Department Work Plan & Budget. R. Ketcham noted that he like to see the Recreation Department continue to complete tasks from the Short & Long Term Goal lists. He also said that he'd like to see the Recreation Department at some time consider ways to save for future projects, like creating some sort "roll-over" fund that be placed in.
NEW BUSINESS
Winter Brochure 2008 Winter Brochures were available for people to look at. The Recreation Director noted that he's particularly happy with this catalog because it illustrates how the department is working towards offering programs for a wider range of the population in Pittsford.
Town Report The Recreation Director informed committee members that he's written the Recreation Department article for the current town report. He encouraged them to speak with him if they had any individual questions or concerns.
All Other Business
With no further business to discuss, K. Shortsleeves made the motion to adjourn the meeting.
M. Poljacik seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 pm.
