PITTSFORD RECREATION DEPARTMENT

MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 13, 2006

PITTSFORD MUNICIPAL OFFICES @ 7:00 pm

Meeting was called to order by Kathy Shortsleeves at 7:15 pm. Members of the Recreation Committee who were present include Scott Eugair, Michele Cioffredi, and Mark Poljacik.

Recreation Director Randy Adams was also present.

Recreation Committee members Rob Ketcham, Kathy Brown and Mark Winslow were not present.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

The minutes of August 8, 2006 were read and accepted. K. Shortsleeves made the motion to accept the minutes as read.

M. Cioffredi seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

RECREATION DIRECTOR’S REPORT

Members of the Recreation Committee read the Directors Report

OLD BUSINESS

2007 Movie Nights

No action taken.

FY 2008 Work Plan

R. Adams solicited the Recreation Committee again as he did in August 2006 to think about items such as projects and/or programs that they would like to see included in the plan and to e-mail them to him or call him directly.

NEW BUSINESS

Jenny Parker, Recreation Committee, Alternate Member

At its regular meeting July 19, 2006, the Board of Selectmen appointed Jenny Parker to the Town of Pittsford Recreation Committee as Alternate member. Her term was effective immediately and will expire March 2009. Scheduled to be present at this, her first, Recreation Committee meeting J. Parker was unable to attend at the last minute. She asked the Recreation Director to mail copies of past and present Recreation Committee Minutes as well as Recreation Director’s Reports so that she could get some background as to where the Recreation Committee was about.

Planning Commission/Town Plan

The Planning Commission has begun working on putting together the next Town Plan. They have contacted some members of the Recreation Committee asking them to attend their next Planning Commission Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, 2006. They forwarded a list of questions so that the Recreation Committee members could think about some of their answers ahead of time.

With no further business to discuss, M. Cioffredi made the motion to adjourn the meeting.

S. Eugair seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

The meeting adjourned at 7:50 pm.
